We finally left Georgia just before Christmas and have been enjoying Florida ever since. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure we would like Florida. I have heard a lot of conflicting reports. Some people say it’s too expensive, crowded, filled with old folks, and others say it’s the best place to spend the winter. So far, we are in [...] As of July 5th, we are still in Colorado. We are camped above Central City, CO in a forest service campground. There is a late afternoon thunderstorm rumbling overhead. Dan is busy working on his Redstone Coke Oven project while I am laying on the couch typing. Ahh… our cozy trailer is home no matter where we are. Wildflowers along Mountain Bike [...] We have been back in the Boulder, CO area since April 20th. Apologies on not updating the site for so long. My laptop was stolen and I have had to rebuild a lot of information. After buying and setting up a new laptop, I concentrated on rebuilding our financial data and am now getting to [...] Even after living in Colorado for 10 years, there are still many areas we haven’t explored. Late summer/early fall was a great time to head into the mountains and escape the heat from the plains. The leaves were changing daily and the Ragged Wilderness, CO hiking was fabulous. We climbed our first 14er outside [...] We started our travels on April 27, 2007, leaving Lafayette, CO and heading west on I-70 into the Colorado Rockies. Our destination was Dinosaur National Monument with stops in Glenwood Springs, Rifle & Fruita, CO.
